This class is an experientially based approach to Ethics. You will examine principles and terminology that underlie professional ethical guidelines and how they apply to your practice and personal sense of ethics. We will be drawing upon real ethical dilemmas from our practices. This class is not about learning a set of ethical precepts in order to avoid lawsuits. It is a heartfelt look at problems that arise in human relationships, and how to get help from your peers and how to provide an ethical context that is safe and nurturing for you and your clients.

Jack specializes in body-centered spiritual growth and healing, and has been studying and practicing bodywork for over 20 years. He became a certified Trager Practitioner in 1986, a Reiki Master in 1987, and a certified Spiritual Director in 1994. Jack is known for his sense of humor and his thorough, gentle and supportive teaching style.

The cost of the course is $100. This class meets the NCBTMB ethics requirement for recertification including 2 hours related to Standard V: Roles and Boundaries.

All those recertifying through 2006:
Ethics requirement: 2 credit hours

All those recertifying from 2007 on:
6 hours of course work in Ethics: 2 hours must relate to Standard V of NCBTMB's Standards of Practice.
