In this workshop you will not only learn a core set of basic yoga postures, but you will also be able to relate them to your anatomy and personal well-being. The workshop will be taught by two instructors in order to provide the kind of personal attention you want in an introductory class. Yoga clothing is not necessary, simply wear something comfortable.

Larry and Amy are both regular yoga class instructors at Green Touch, teaching on Wednesday and Thursday evenings respectively.

10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

This class is for parents of pre-crawling infants, who are interested in learning to massage their child. Both parents are encouraged to attend. You will learn communication and basic strokes, then receive hands-on guidance as you massage your child. You will learn about oils, types of touch, what your infant's "cues" are and how to treat some common ailments, improve circulation and help your child sleep with massage.

Shari is an Early Childhood Specialist and has been working with parents and young children for 14 years. She has been providing and teaching Infant/Toddler massage to families in Whatcom County for 2 years. "Many times I have witnessed the beautiful exchange between parent and child as each relaxes into the dance of the massage".

Cost of the class is $20 for each session/$60 for all three. Parents are encouraged to take all three classes to get instruction on how to work the entire body. Class times were scheduled to accommodate the most common feeding/sleeping patterns of the infants. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Flower essences lovingly support the alchemy of vibrational health. Diana will discuss how this happens and how flower essences are an ally for a vital life. In addition, you will be introduced to, and practice, methods for choosing essences.

Diana is a lecturer, flower essence consultant and producer of flower essences at Tree Frog Farm on Lummi Island. Come join her for a lively discussion.

Following the class, Diana will be doing In-Store Flower Essence Consultations from 12:30 to 2:30. From a body sense, feeling or explanation of what you would like the flower essences to address, Diana will make recommendations of which essences to use and will provide you with a detailed "prescription" for their use. Readings will take approximately 20 minutes and will cost $10, plus the cost of the essences. This is a 50% savings over Diana's regular rate.
